If you happen to weren’t glued to social media throughout Monday Night time Soccer this week, you may need missed footage of a fan working onto the sphere with a pink flare earlier than being taken down by Los Angeles Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner.
Seems that fan is none too comfortable about being leveled by an NFL linebacker, and has reportedly filed a police report over the incident, in response to TMZ.
Per the report, the fan went to the Santa Clara County police and filed a report on Tuesday following the San Francisco 49ers’ 24-9 victory over the Rams, though no different particulars have the report have been disclosed.
A consultant for the group Direct Motion In all places — an animal rights group the fan is a part of — advised TMZ the report “stems from ‘blatant assault’ by two Rams gamers.”
There have been two followers who jumped the railing with pink smoke bombs through the second quarter of Monday evening’s recreation. TMZ reported that one fan, a lady, was stopped by safety earlier than she might run onto the sphere, whereas the opposite fan proceeded to race throughout the gridiron earlier than being stopped by Wagner.
The group stated the stunt was to lift consciousness about an upcoming trial involving stolen pigs from a manufacturing facility farm, TMZ stated.
There has not but been a response from Wagner or the Rams on the matter.
