If you have not been in a position to make heads or tails out of what’s occurring to the Milwaukee Brewers, Eric Lauer seems to have the reply.
The Brew Crew has gone from main their division to being on the skin of a wild card spot within the month of August, going 7-11 and nearly getting swept this weekend by the lowly Chicago Cubs. When dissecting precisely what has gone improper, Lauer bought candid and scolded the Brewers entrance workplace for the way they dealt with the commerce deadline — and the message it despatched to the clubhouse after it dealt Josh Hader.
“It did not ship us the correct message from the upstairs folks attempting to say, like, ‘We’re doing this and we’re attempting to place you guys in one of the best place and we’re attempting to win proper now with you guys,'” the lefty informed MLB.com’s Adam McCalvy. “It appeared extra of a, ‘We’re attempting to develop for the long run.'”
Lauer went on to say that the entrance workplace did not do such a bang-up job speaking with the crew after Hader was dealt — which refutes what Brewers’ higher-ups mentioned following the commerce deadline.
“Afterward, there was no communication to the clubhouse [about] what modified within the clubhouse. It’s sort of prefer it was shrugged off,” Lauer mentioned.
