A brand new demonic-looking statue has been positioned on high of a Manhattan Courthouse.
The golden statue, named “NOW” ,stands at about 8ft and depicts a girl with horns carrying a lace collar.
It was resurrected on high of the First Judicial Division of the State Supreme Court docket in an try and honor the late Supreme Court docket Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The artist behind the statue is Pakistani American Shahzia Sikander.
Sikander advised The New York Instances she known as the statue NOW “as a result of it was wanted ‘now,’ at a time when ladies’s reproductive rights have been underneath siege after the U.S. Supreme Court docket in June overturned the constitutional proper to abortion.”
